Excellence of any kind;
Like all things, this started as a simple idea. As a child I had always loved the idea of graphic design. Making stickers at high school just to give to people, for fun. Then some friends and I came up with a basic idea of supplying the public with sylish, comfortable and affordable clothing, yet unfortunately that never followed through. Our ideas in the long run did not match up and just like that the idea was left alone as an idea.. but as of recently I personally have looked back at that idea and wanted to bring it back to realtiy and thats where the idea of Arete started.
The idea of bringing comfortable, yet affordable apparel with the highest possible quality and made from only the finest materials. A big goal of mine is to supply the public with the highest quality hemp, organic cotton, bamboo etc, at affordable prices. It may be a small step, but its a step to a more eco friendly planet.
Arete, in its basic sense, means excellence of any kind in its earliest appearance in Greek, this notion of excellence was ultimately bound up with the notion of the fulfillment of purpose or function: the act of living up to one's full potential. That is what this means to me, I can only promise my absolute best to you all.
